Dreamland was created from piecing together images I have sketched over the years in different mediums like the shape of the buildings, winding road and the sun.  These are repeating ideas I have so I wanted to combine theme in a fantasy setting.  My style is bright & colourful so I wanted to incorporate that with the rainbow ribbons going up to the sky.  I enjoyed coming up with different designs for the buildings.  I was inspired by some art deco styling but also something that could look futuristic.  The floating jelly fish are just a bit of fun to finish the piece off.  I painted this in acrylic.
