I am an artist based on the Isle of Wight.  Ever since I can remember I have drawn and wanted to draw.  I look at things and I see colour, lots of vivid colour, music brings it's own colour. My goal in life is to live surrounded by as much colour as possible as it lifts me up and in doing so hope to make some art that will have that affect on someone else.

I guess I started out doodling and then studying to get better at the doodling.  I started off with felt pens, biros, fine tips.  I like the contrast of black & white so if I'm focusing on detail I like to use pen & ink.

I really enjoy painting in acrylic with bold, bright colours.  I am drawn to colour and feel it expresses so much just by the colours you use.  I never know what I will paint next, a conversation, a song can be the next inspiration.
